Trish Abalo

Outreach Coordinator, GYEC-MSU

Trish Abalo is one of our Outreach Coordinators. She studies interdisciplinary social sciences and philosophy, with a focus on designing innovative, socially just education systems and models. She is an unapologetic lover of puns, modern dance, and Paulo Freire. She joined GYEC, because of the fire she feels working with the GYEC team. She has met some of the most energetic, brilliant, and compassionate individuals through this organization. She feels emboldened to work towards change, nourished by a team culture that centralizes human understanding and is determined to take action in little ways and big moves, everyday, to catalyze and sustain progress.
